Smoothies are a great way to consume a daily dose of fruit and eat healthy... Thaw 2 cups of berries or use 2 cups of fresh berries...we like to mix strawberries, raspberries and those wonderful blue berries for fighting toxins in our bodies. Add some 100 % orange juice making blending possible without the strain on the blender. Option: Add bananas, yogurt, or honey or all. Blend together until smooth and enjoy! I have used all types of fruits with the appeal of berries (always a favorite) but in reality any preferred fruit will work... Tomorrow's subject on rolled sandwiches with a twist.
